Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD requires owners/operators of Cessna 120 and 140 aeroplanes (serial numbers up to 11842) to reroute the primer line, adjust the strainer and fit a primer shield in accordance with Cessna Service Letter 34. CASA issued the mandatory measure under CASR subreg 39.1(1) to prevent fuel contacting the exhaust manifold. Owners/operators pay for the work and must have it done at the next scheduled maintenance visit; the AD cross-references FAA AD 47-43-01.
