AD/CERES/7 Amdt 1 - Turnover Truss - Modification - CANCELLED

This document cancels an outdated aviation safety rule that required modifications to a specific type of agricultural aircraft.

What it was about:

• The original rule required owners of C.A.C. CA-28 Ceres crop-duster planes to fix or replace the 'turnover truss' — a structural part that prevents the plane from tipping over during loading or rough landings.
• This rule was first made after a serious accident where the truss collapsed on one of these aircraft.

Why it's being cancelled:

• The deadline for fixing the truss was January 1980 — meaning all affected planes were required to be modified decades ago.
• Because every aircraft has long since been modified, the safety rule is now redundant and is being removed from the books.
