Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of CAC CA-28 Ceres aircraft to replace the pilot’s shoulder harness release-lock with a multi-directional inertia reel that meets MIL-R-8236 (or an approved equivalent). If you already complied under AD/CA-28/5, no further action is needed.

The change increases crash/impact safety by ensuring the harness automatically locks and holds the pilot securely.
