This AD requires all C.A.C. CA-28 (Ceres) aircraft to have the outboard aileron mass balance weights reattached per Ceres Service Bulletin No. 29 to ensure they remain secure. Owners and operators must carry out the modification forthwith (before the next flight).

If your aircraft already complied with AD/CA-28/1, no further action is needed. This replaces the 1962 directive.

Note: Modifications performed in accordance with AD/CA-28/1 satisfy the requirements of this Directive.

This Amendment becomes effective on 9 September 1999.

Background The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective in Issue AL 8/62.
