Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive (AD/CASA/6) requires replacement of the fuel shut-off valves on the specified CASA 212 aeroplanes in accordance with Casa SB No. 212-28-15, to be completed before any further flight after 31 August 1983.

It therefore affects aircraft owners/operators and maintenance organisations, forcing grounding until the work is done and shifting parts, labour and downtime costs and scheduling burdens onto operators and their maintenance providers.
