This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of CAP 232, CAP 231 and CAP 231EX aeroplanes to carry out engine‑mount inspections in accordance with CAP Aviation Service Bulletin No. 1 Revision 3 (15 Sept 2000). It prescribes initial timing (within the first 100 aerobatic flight hours on the mount, or within 5 aerobatic flight hours after 23 May 2001 if already past 100) and repeats at intervals no greater than every 10 aerobatic flights. CASA issued the AD under CAR 1998 subreg 39.1(1); operators pay for and schedule the inspections.
