Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of certain Skyfox (Hedaro) CA25N Gazelle aeroplanes (serials up to CA25N042 unless HEO‑143 is fitted) to inspect the exhaust system per Skyfox Service Bulletin No.14—first within 50 hours and thereafter every 100 hours, mandatory from 30 Jan 1997. It was issued after reported cracking at the exhaust manifold inlet that could cause leakage or failure; operators must arrange and pay for recurring inspections, creating ongoing maintenance costs and downtime.
