Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires operators and maintenance organisations of C.A.C. CA‑6 (Wackett Trainer) aircraft to inspect the front‑cockpit fuel selector cock at intervals not exceeding 40 hours: confirm selector backlash does not exceed 15° and that the indexing cam gives a pronounced click, and where either check fails, adjust or replace the cock.

It creates recurring maintenance obligations and cost exposure for operators, while leaving measurement methods, click criteria and specific adjustment/replacement procedures to maintainers' judgment.
