AD/BUSHBY M2/1 - Canopy Frame - Modification - CANCELLED

What this does: This instrument cancels an old aviation safety rule (called an Airworthiness Directive) that required structural modifications to the canopy frames of Bushby Mustang II light aircraft.

The backstory: In 1985, the aviation regulator required owners to modify these aircraft to stop the cockpit canopy from detaching during flight—a serious safety hazard that could kill the pilot. Owners had to complete the fix by August 1985.

Why cancel it now: More than 20 years have passed since that deadline. Every affected aircraft was modified decades ago, so the rule is completely obsolete. This cancellation simply removes the spent regulation from the books. No action is required—if you own one of these planes, the modification should already be done.
