AD/BR700/7 - Engine Electronic Controller (EEC)

This Directive requires replacement of specific BR700-715A1/B1/C1-30 Engine Electronic Controllers (P/N 114E6112G120; S/Ns LHBR04I3–LHBR0419) because incorrectly applied thread‑locking could allow internal parts to loosen and short-circuit the EEC (Applicability; Background). Operators must follow Rolls‑Royce Alert Service Bulletin BR700-73-A900378 to replace affected units: where both engines fitted are affected replace one before further flight and the other within 50 flight hours; where one engine is affected replace it within 50 flight hours (Requirement; Compliance).
