Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Rolls‑Royce BR700‑710A1‑10 and BR700‑710A2‑20 engines fitted with oil‑filter differential pressure switch P/N 21SN04‑419 or ‑431 to inspect the switch serial number and then either mark the unit or replace it following Rolls‑Royce Service Bulletin BR700‑79‑900215 Rev 2. Deadlines depend on the switch’s time‑since‑new. It affects aircraft operators and maintenance organisations who must carry out inspections, marking or replacement and bear the associated parts and labour costs.
