Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Requires operators of all Pilatus Britten‑Norman BN‑2 Islander aircraft to inspect the main landing‑gear upper torque‑link attachment lug per the nominated FHL service bulletin and to replace main undercarriage assembly P/N 3499H1 with P/N 3499H2. The directive responds to fatigue cracking and instances of torque‑link detachment. Operators must complete inspections and the specified replacement within the stated landing‑count or date, so operators carry the compliance cost and operational scheduling burden.
