Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Requires inspection of the flap drive pick‑up bracket for cracking on Pilatus Britten‑Norman BN‑2 aircraft whose flaps are not built to Mod NB/M/608, using Pilatus SB BN‑2/70 Issue 2, at intervals not exceeding five years. The amendment exempts Mod NB/M/608 flaps and replaces the earlier 1,000‑hour manufacturer inspection with a five‑year interval; operators bear inspection costs, must schedule and record checks, and have an incentive to adopt Mod NB/M/608 to avoid recurring inspections.
