Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires Pilatus Britten‑Norman BN‑2 aeroplanes without Modification NB/M/394 to have the elevator trim final‑drive lever inspected (within 10 hours TIS after 23 Feb 1970 and then every ≤25 hours TIS) and ultimately be modified per Britten‑Norman SB No. BN‑2/SB.24. It affects owners/operators and maintenance organisations: repeated inspections continue until the modification is incorporated, addressing an identified safety concern with the trim mechanism.
