AD/BELL 412/7 Amdt 1 - Airspeed and Ground Operation Restriction

What this is: An immediate safety rule (called an Airworthiness Directive) for operators of Bell 412 helicopters.

What it does:

Restricts airspeed and ground operations for these helicopters to prevent unsafe flight conditions.
Applies immediately — there is no grace period.

Who must follow it:

Anyone operating a Bell 412 helicopter that has not already been modified according to a previous safety directive (AD/BELL 412/8).

Why it exists:

The directive responds to a manufacturer safety alert (Bell Alert Service Bulletin 412-82-10) identifying risks with these aircraft. If your helicopter was already fixed under the previous directive (AD/BELL 412/8), you don't need to do anything new.
