Applicability:	All Model AB412 and AB412EP helicopters with rescue hoist part numberBL-10300-60 or part number 412-8800-01-315 installed, and equipped respectively with hook part number S6150-61090-1 or part number 412-8800-05-101; and affected hooks held as spares.
Requirement:	1. Inspect in accordance with the instructions of Agusta Alert Technical Bulletin No. 412-124.2. Hooks stored as spare parts must be inspected in accordance with the instructions of Agusta Alert Technical Bulletin No. 412-124.Note: ENAC Emergency AD 2008-62 refers.
Compliance:	For Requirement 1. - Before the next flight of the helicopter after 10 April 2008, unless already accomplished; or before installation of the affected hoists/hooks on the helicopter.For Requirement 2. - Before 30 April 2008, unless already accomplished.
	This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 10 April 2008.
Background:	The ENAC received a report of a part number 412-8800-05-101 hook without the part number BL-1358 lock pin installed. This condition, unless corrected, could allow the retaining nut to completely unthread and release the hook.
