Applicability:	All BHTC Model 222, 222B, 222U, and 230 helicopters.
Requirement:	Remove main rotor pendulum weight supports part number 222-011-114-103, as identified with serial numbers having the prefix “HD”, and replace with a serviceable part; in accordance with Bell Helicopter Textron Alert Service Bulletin 222-01-91, 222U-01-62 or 230-01-24, as applicable.Note: Transport Canada AD CF-2001-28 refers.
Compliance:	Unless already accomplished, before 30 September 2007.
	This Amendment becomes effective on 30 August 2007.
Background:	The manufacturer received a report of an incident where one of the main rotor pendulum weight support failed, shedding the pendulum weight set in flight. Subsequent investigation revealed that the failed support had manufacturing discrepancies.Amendment 1 is issued to include the Model 230 helicopter in applicability and change the compliance time.
