Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This CASA Airworthiness Directive requires owners and operators of Bell 212 helicopters to remove from service specific main rotor blades identified by serial number. Affected blades must be taken off before the helicopter’s next flight after 16 January 1976. The rule creates an immediate maintenance and administrative burden—operators bear removal and replacement costs and maintenance teams must verify serial numbers to ensure compliance.
