Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

A safety directive requiring owners/operators of certain Bell 212 helicopters to inspect and rework the spanner link assembly in the hydraulic servo cylinder to prevent interference that could disable the backup hydraulic system. It matters because loss of the redundant system can leave pilots without hydraulic assistance. The work was to be done within 100 flight hours after 31 Oct 1982; this amendment expands the affected serial-number range.
