This airworthiness directive requires owners/operators of Bell 212 helicopters with main rotor blades P/No. 204-012-001 (all dash numbers) or P/N 212-015-501-5 to carry out inspections and modifications as specified in Bell Service Bulletin No. 212-75-6, Revision C. It affects maintenance organisations and technicians, imposes compliance costs and potential downtime, and delegates technical detail to the external Service Bulletin (the AD itself gives no on‑its‑face technical rationale).
