Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority requires a mechanical modification to fuel filter and hose installations on specified Bell 206L‑1 helicopters (serials 45154–45448 and certain single‑pilot IFR models). Compliance must follow Bell Service Bulletins SB 206L‑80‑13 (and SB 206L‑81‑19 where applicable) within 100 hours time‑in‑service after 30 September 1981.

Affected owners/operators must arrange and pay for the work; the AD narrows impact to a specific subset of the fleet and directs compliance to the manufacturer’s service bulletins.
