Plain English Summary

Owners/operators of Bell 206L and 206L‑1 helicopters must replace the fuel feed tube and a fuel vent tube per Bell Alert Service Bulletin No. 206L‑79‑7 within 100 flight hours after 31 January 1980. The action responds to moisture‑induced corrosion in insulating material that can penetrate tube walls. Compliance imposes a one‑off maintenance cost, scheduling and downtime burden on affected operators.
