This airworthiness directive requires daily/overnight inspections of the main rotor hub yoke (P/Ns 206-010-101-1, -5, -9, -13) on Bell/Agusta Bell 206 helicopters and mandates a rework of that yoke within 1,200 flight hours, the next removal of the main rotor hub, or by 31 December 1974 (whichever is earlier), per Bell Service Bulletin 206-04-1-74-1 Rev. A. It affects owners, operators, pilots and maintenance engineers by creating a recurring inspection duty and a compulsory rework deadline, with inspection certification options under ANO 100.5.1.
