Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This mandatory CASA safety order requires all owners/operators of Bell 206 series helicopters (including Agusta-built) to inspect and replace specific flight-control bolts per Bell Service Bulletin No. 206-04-2-74-1 (or Agusta BT206-80).

The update adds a required chamfering of the two outside faces of each clevis hole where previous compliance was already done to prevent stress cracks and potential loss of control, aligning Agusta models with the equivalent European directive.
