AD/BELL 206/160 Amdt 1 - High Forward and High Aft Crosstubes

This airworthiness directive requires owners/operators of specific Bell 206A/206B helicopters fitted with Aeronautical Accessories high forward (PN 206-321-001, SN 1001–1152) and high aft (PN 206-321-002, SN 2001–2152) crosstubes to remove and inspect each crosstube per Aeronautical Accessories Alert Service Bulletin AA-03121 (25 Oct 2004) and to replace any cracked unit before further flight. Compliance must occur within 300 flight hours or 60 days from 27 Oct 2005, with recurring inspections at intervals not to exceed 300 hours or 12 months. The AD issues in response to a reported cracked crosstube and corrects the calendar timing for repeat inspections.
