This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of Bell 206L helicopters fitted with low fuel level detector unit P/N 206-063-613-003 to remove eight specifically identified spare units from service and follow the manufacturer’s alert service bulletin. CASA says the affected units can ‘hang-up’ in the high position and fail to indicate a low fuel condition.

Removal must be done in accordance with BHTC Alert Service Bulletin ASB 206L-04-132 (or later Transport Canada–approved revisions) by 31 December 2004.
