Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires certain Beechcraft 99-series aeroplanes to have their steel outboard wing attach bolts and nuts replaced with inconel parts, and to undergo recurring inspections and a 15‑year replacement cycle for those inconel components. It applies to specified serial-numbered aircraft and targets life‑limited, safety‑critical wing fittings. Owners and operators must follow Beechcraft service instructions and the Structural Inspection and Repair Manual, bearing the cost and maintenance downtime for replacement, inspection and record-keeping.
