Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of Beechcraft 95 (Travelair) aeroplanes with 1,000+ hours TIS to inspect the RH and LH flap actuator bracket and adjacent structure for cracks or distress — first within 100 hours after 31 Aug 1972 and then every 300 hours thereafter. It shifts inspection costs and scheduling onto operators to detect structural problems early and maintain airworthiness.
