AD/BEECH 95/11 - Front Seat Restraint Installations - CANCELLED

This document cancels a previous safety rule that required shoulder harnesses (upper torso restraints) in the front seats of Beechcraft 95 (Travelair) series aeroplanes.

What it does

• Removes a specific requirement: As of 17 January 2008, owners of these specific aircraft no longer need to comply with the 1971 directive mandating front seat shoulder harness installation.
• Consolidates requirements: The old rule has been absorbed into a broader, general airworthiness directive (AD/GENERAL/74 Amendment 1) that covers multiple aircraft types, making this aircraft-specific rule redundant.

Who it affects

• Owners and operators of Beechcraft 95 (Travelair) series aeroplanes.
• Aircraft maintenance engineers and operators responsible for compliance with airworthiness directives.

Why it matters This simplifies compliance for operators of these aircraft by removing a duplicate requirement. The safety standard is still enforced, but now through a general directive rather than this specific one.
