Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive mandates safety maintenance on engine mount bolt nuts for specific Beechcraft aircraft.

Who it affects:

Owners and operators of Beechcraft 95 (Travelair) series aeroplanes
Only those with serial numbers TD-718 and subsequent (newer models)

What you must do:

Perform the actions specified in Beechcraft Service Instruction No. 0396-241 (the manufacturer's technical manual for this fix)

Deadline:

Complete the work within 25 hours of flight time (called 'time in service' in aviation terms) after 21 August 1970

Why it matters: This prevents potential failure of the engine mounting system, which could cause the engine to separate from the aircraft during flight.
