Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This mandatory safety directive requires owners and operators of Beechcraft Model F90 aircraft (serials LA-2 through LA-101) to perform recurring inspections of rivets in the forward spar web of the horizontal stabiliser. Inspections must begin before 2,000 total flight hours (or within 100 hours if already over 2,000) and recur every 500 flight hours. The rule addresses identified loose rivets that could weaken the tail’s structural integrity and compromise flight safety.
