Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires certain Beechcraft 90 and 65‑90 (King Air) aeroplanes with H‑14 autopilot installations (specific serial-number ranges) to have the elevator control/autopilot servo bellcrank inspected and, where necessary, cables repaired or replaced. If rubbing is found the autopilot servo cable must be removed and an “Autopilot inoperative” placard fitted until the servo mount is modified per Beech Mod Kit 90‑9067‑15. Compliance is immediate (before further flight) or by 1 September 1978.
