Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of Beechcraft 90/65‑90 series aeroplanes with over 1,000 hours TIS to begin and then repeat a targeted inspection of the elevator tab hinge beam flanges for cracking every 200 hours. It imposes an immediate, recurring maintenance task that increases inspection workload and potential follow‑on repairs, aiming to detect rivet‑line cracking and protect structural integrity of the affected fleet.
