Why it matters The original rule required immediate installation of safety devices to prevent electrical faults in the ammeter wiring. Because this work was required immediately from 1967, CASA (the Civil Aviation Safety Authority) considers that all affected aircraft have been modified by now. This cancellation is regulatory housekeeping to remove obsolete requirements from the rulebook.
