Plain English Summary

5/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive replaces the prior amendment and, under CAR 1998, requires all operators to carry out corrective action to address an identified unsafe condition. It’s issued by a CASA delegate and legally binds owners/operators to follow the AD’s technical requirements and timing.

The AD makes operators responsible for compliance and costs (inspections, repairs, downtime). The specific remedial steps, timing and costs are in the AD’s requirement/compliance sections, which must be consulted for operational impact.
