Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners and operators of specified Beechcraft Queen Air Model 65 and 70 series aircraft must install a placard showing the emergency engine shut‑down procedure as directed by Beechcraft Service Instruction No 0509‑016. Compliance was required within 25 hours’ time in service after 23 August 1972. The AD makes the manufacturer’s placard content mandatory, creating a modest administrative/installation cost for affected aircraft and ensuring crews have the procedure visibly posted.
