Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority requires operators of Beechcraft Queen Air models 65 and 70 (≥1,000 hours TIS) to inspect the flap actuator bracket and adjacent structure on both right- and left-hand flaps for cracks or signs of distress. The initial inspection is due within 100 hours TIS after 31 August 1972 and must be repeated at intervals not exceeding 300 hours.

Owners/operators are responsible for scheduling and paying for inspections and keeping time-in-service records; the directive specifies what and when to inspect but not methods or corrective actions.
