Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires operators of specified Beechcraft 60/A60/B‑60 serial numbers to inspect, and if necessary replace, the outflow/safety valve following Beech Service Bulletin 2484 Rev 1. It also forbids reinstalling any valve found unserviceable. Compliance is required within 200 flight hours or 4 months of the effective date. CASA says the measure responds to manufacturing defects that could cause rapid decompression; operators bear the inspection and replacement cost and potential aircraft downtime.
