Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Requires owners/operators of Beechcraft 60 (Duke) aeroplanes to inspect and, where necessary, replace wing attachment bolts, washers, nuts and fittings on a fixed schedule and to retire removed hardware. It prescribes inspection intervals (initial, then every 5 calendar years) and mandatory retirement of hardware at 15 years.

It matters because the AD creates compulsory maintenance tasks, predictable replacement timing and associated costs, labour and downtime for aircraft operators, and a recordkeeping/compliance obligation under civil aviation regulation.
