Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD requires owners/operators of Beechcraft 56TC (Turbo Baron) aeroplanes to remove and inspect wing bolts, washers, nuts and fittings, to retire and replace hardware older than 15 years, and to re‑inspect at five‑year intervals (see Requirement and Compliance). It is issued under CASA’s subregulation 39.1(1) to address an identified unsafe condition.

The stated purpose is safety; the concrete costs fall on aircraft operators who must carry out inspections, purchase replacement hardware and render retired parts unserviceable. Compliance depends on following the Beechcraft Shop Manual and CASA delegate enforcement.
