AD/BEECH 56/3 - Cabin Door Latch - CANCELLED

What this does: This document cancels an old aircraft safety rule (called an Airworthiness Directive or AD) that previously required owners of Beechcraft 56TC Turbo Baron aeroplanes to install a third latch on the cabin door to prevent it from opening in flight.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of Beechcraft 56TC (Turbo Baron) series aircraft. However, since the original rule required compliance by November 1968, all affected planes were modified decades ago.

Why it matters: The Civil Aviation Safety Authority is removing obsolete rules from the books. Because every affected aircraft was required to complete this modification nearly 40 years ago, the rule is no longer necessary and is being cancelled to reduce regulatory clutter.
