Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners and operators of Beechcraft 56TC (Turbo Baron) aircraft must inspect and, if needed, repair elevators with improperly bonded honeycomb stiffener strips — a manufacturing defect that can weaken the elevator and risk loss of control.

If your elevator’s serial number is listed in Beechcraft Service Instruction No. 2030, comply with the repair procedures in Beechcraft Service Bulletin No. 2030 within 100 flight hours after 31 December 1984 (unless already addressed under SI 1207).
