Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of Beechcraft Model 58P aeroplanes (serial numbers TJ-3 to TJ-497) to install an exterior door operating instruction placard exactly as set out in Raytheon Mandatory Service Bulletin SB 11-3404. The placard must be fitted within 100 hours time in service or 12 calendar months from 5 September 2002. Operators pay for and arrange the installation; CASA enforces the requirement. The FAA reported unclear or hard-to-understand door instructions after an accident, and this AD aims to make the procedure visible and understandable.
