Plain English Summary

6/10 complexity

A CASA delegate, using subregulation 39.1(1) of CAR 1998, issues an Airworthiness Directive that requires the corrective actions set out in its requirement and compliance sections to address a stated unsafe condition. It applies only to the aircraft/product listed (here, the named model/serial number) and makes owners/operators responsible for carrying out and timing the work. The excerpt omits the substantive requirement and compliance details, so actual costs and operational impacts aren’t shown.
