Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires operators of specified Beechcraft 55, 58 and 95‑55 series aeroplanes (particular serial numbers listed) to perform periodic inspections of engine mounts for cracks, following the technical requirements of FAA AD 91‑15‑20 and Beech SB 2362 Rev 1. It applies to Australian‑registered aircraft; operators and their maintenance organisations must carry out and pay for the inspections and comply with CASA’s revised effective date (14 Nov 1991). The rule mechanically imposes inspection and compliance obligations to detect mount cracking.
