Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority requires certain Beechcraft 55/58/95-55 (Baron) aeroplanes fitted with Hoskins P/N 30-0187-21 or Grimes P/N 30-0669-1 wing strobe lamps to be modified or inspected per Beechcraft Service Instruction No. 0800-362 within 100 hours’ time-in-service after 31 March 1977.

This affects aircraft owners/operators and their maintenance providers, who must obtain and follow the SI (bearing any parts, labour and downtime costs); the directive sets the legal obligation and timeframe while the SI specifies technical details.
