Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This mandatory Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of specified Beechcraft Baron D55/E55/58 series (serials TE‑589+ for 55s; TH‑1+ for 58s) to have engine‑mount bolt nuts inspected/serviced per Beechcraft Service Instruction No. 0396‑241. Compliance was required within 25 flight hours after 21 August 1970. It’s critical because insecure nuts can allow engine separation, posing catastrophic safety risk.
