AD/BEECH 50/19 - Front Seat Restraint Installations - CANCELLED

This document officially cancels a 1971 aviation safety rule (called an Airworthiness Directive) that required shoulder harnesses (upper torso restraints) to be installed in the front seats of older Beechcraft 50 Twin Bonanza aircraft.

What it does:

• Cancels the previous safety requirement effective 17 January 2008
• Replaces it with a reference to a newer, more general safety rule (AD/GENERAL/74 Amendment 1)

Who it affects: Owners and operators of Beechcraft 50 (Twin Bonanza) series aircraft that were certified before 1967.

Why it matters: While the specific old rule is gone, the safety standards are now covered by a broader, updated directive rather than this specific model-by-model requirement.
