Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners and operators of Beechcraft 50 (Twin Bonanza) series must perform recurring visual inspections of the elevator trim tab hinge beam (P/N 50/610000/94) to check for cracking in the flange and web, at intervals not exceeding 250 hours TIS.

The rule shifts inspection costs and scheduling onto operators; its primary aim is early detection of hinge-beam cracks to protect airworthiness, though it does not prescribe acceptance criteria or remedial actions.
