Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Requires operators of Beechcraft 400A aircraft (serial RK-1 to RK-41) to visually inspect the main landing-gear wheel-well wiring harnesses and, if damaged, re-route and repair them per the Beechcraft Service Bulletin before further flight. Compliance must occur within 200 hours’ time in service after 18 August 1994. This responds to reports that harnesses have contacted spinning main tyres after retraction, a failure mode that could lead to loss of engine fuel supply control or loss of control of the main landing gear and its doors.
